This is a matching receiver and bolt body pair from a 1950 standard rifle. The serial number on the receiver appears to have initially been stamped as 163714 but was factory over-stamped with a 5 as the last digit. Both pieces have the original finish.

Receiver - The receiver bluing is original, showing wear on the rails and tang. There is some light freckling and bluing loss on the face of the recoil lug. There are no notable scratches, dings or other metal damage. There are no extra holes or modifications to the receiver.

Bolt  - The bolt body has freckling; the bolt handle has freckling and bluing wear.

We use the NRA Modern Gun Condition Standards Grading System for grading part conditions. You can read about it HERE

NOTE: Laws governing transfer of firearms require that receivers be shipped to an FFL holder. If you do not hold an FFL or C&R license, you will need to enlist the services of an FFL to complete the transfer. If needed, we are happy to assist you in locating an FFL holder near you who can complete the transfer on your end.
