This is a featherweight aluminum floor plate and trigger guard set, for a Winchester Model 70 rifle.
Winchester aluminum bottom metal came in a variety of color tones, which did not always match well. For that reason, we have hand-selected a featherweight floor plate and trigger guard in similar condition and color tone, to create a cohesive set. The floor plate and trigger guard in this set likely did not come off of the same rifle; however, they are all authentic pre-64 Winchester model 70 featherweight parts.
Bluing - 95% - possibly refinished. The finish is dark and even, with a hint of edgewear on the floor plate. The trigger guard shows some areas where the finish has been touched up or possibly painted.
Metal - The floor plate metal appears in excellent condition with no notable damage. The trigger guard has one notable gouge to the metal inside the bow, as well as a few tiny dings to other areas of the bow. Please see photos.
