This is a featherweight aluminum trigger guard from a Winchester Model 70 rifle. The bow appears to have been contoured and thinned, leaving the bow slightly narrower and thinner than original featherweight trigger guards. The rest of the part retains its original dimensions.
Bluing - Refinished. This part appears to be refinished, though not in the pre64win shop. The finish is dark and even, with no fading, edgewear, scratches or other signs of wear.
Metal - The metal is in excellent condition, with no notable flaws or damage.
