This is a stock produced between 1951 and 1958 for a .300 H&H magnum rifle that has decorative inletting on the butt. The inletting depicts a sheep on one side and a moose on the other. The inletting appears to be filled with epoxy mixed with fine wood dust. The receiver area is inlet for the post-war style tang and will fit any .300 H&H magnum rifle produced after 1948. Aside from the decorative inletting and a glossy refinish, the stock appears original in all other aspects, including the steel buttplate. There are some light handling marks but no significant gouges, dents, or other damage.
