This is a superb .30-06 Featherweight rifle, produced in 1957. It is topped with a vintage Weaver KV 2.5-5.5x scope in Weaver mounts, all of which grades in NRA excellent condition.
The original bluing grades at 95% and is in excellent condition with just slight edge wear and no noteworthy blemishes. The bore of the 22" barrel is bright with strong rifling and no condition issues. The stock is excellent with the factory finish intact with only few very minor scratches. The stock has not been bedded or modified in any way. The wood has no gouges cracks, oil stains or other problems. The factory buttplate remains. The checkering is crisp and unblemished. The bolt is serial numbered to the rifle.
The Weaver scope is period correct and is also in excellent condition. The optics are crystal clear with a standard crosshair reticle. The internal adjustments and variable power function all work well. The only blemish is a very faint ghost of a ring mark in the bluing of the tube. The vintage sticker shown in the photos says
