This is a 1958 Featherweight rifle chambered in .308 Winchester in near-perfect condition. The receiver and bolt are marked with matching serial numbers - 435539. Included are the hang tags and box, with instruction manual and warranty card.
The metal and finish are in near-perfect (like new) factory original condition, with no notable blemishes or wear.
The stock is original to the rifle with a Monte Carlo comb and an aluminum buttplate. The stock was bedded to the receiver in the recoil lug area but there are no other modifications. Under very close examination, the only defect we can find in the stock is a small rub on the top of the comb. The buttplate is in excellent condition and the checkering is in excellent condition.
The bore of the 22" barrel is in perfect condition with no wear or pits, rating a 10 out of 10 under borescope examination.
