This beautiful .375 H&H model 70 rifle was produced in 1950. The bolt and receiver are both marked with serial number 146230. It grades in NRA excellent condition.
Many 375's have not been fired much, and this one is no exception. The bore of the 25" medium contour barrel has almost no wear, but with a few shallow pits and light freckling we rate it as a 9 out of 10.
The original Monte Carlo stock retains its factory recoil pad. The finish appears to be original. There are some shallow dings, most notably below the Winchester logo on the receiver. The checkering remains sharp and crisp - in flawless condition. There was a small crack in the recoil lug that has been professionally repaired by the Pre64 team.
The bluing is rated at 95% with minor wear on the bolt components and a slight amount on the rails. The bottom metal is beautiful with no edgewear or fading but with some scratches.
