This beautiful .375 H&H model 70 rifle was produced in 1951. This is a high-condition rifle in original factory finishes and configuration. The bolt and receiver are both marked with serial number 194100. It grades in NRA excellent condition. The original box, factory hang tags and printed materials are included!
The bore of the 25" medium contour barrel is in near-perfect (factory new) condition with no notable wear or pitting. The only way we know this rifle was ever fired is by the light copper streaks in the bore.
The original Monte Carlo stock retains its factory recoil pad and is in excellent condition with very light handling wear. There were two small cracks that were professionally repaired by the pre64win team: one in the recoil lug area, and another in the forend tip. These cracks are no longer visible. There are no other repairs or modifications to the stock. The checkering remains sharp and crisp - in flawless condition.
The bluing is rated at 95% with minor wear on the bolt components, on the rails. There are also a few small rubs on the receiver. The bottom metal is beautiful with no edgewear or fading, and only the tiniest of surface scratches.
