If you have followed us for any amount of time, you know we love the stories a rifle can tell, and boy can this rifle tell some stories. Chambered in the legendary .375 H&H, this rifle has fully lived up to to the mystique around its thumb-sized cartridge. Even better, we have the photos to back it up.

This rifle comes to us on consignment. It's owner's dangerous game hunts are behind him and it's time to pass the torch to a new owner. But while he was still carrying this rifle, he took everything from cape buffalo, to trophy Alaska moose, and even an elephant with it.

The owner supplied these fantastic photos of himself and this rifle on safari in Kenya, when the country was still open to hunting.

Among the photos was this gem of the owner and the rifle with a maneless lion. We were thrilled to discover in the photo with him one of Africa's greatest professional hunters - Bryan Coleman.

In spite of the rifle's significant accomplishments, we found it to be in outstanding condition. Here are the details:

This is a standard rifle chambered in .375 H&H Magnum and produced in 1961. The rifle retains its original factory finishes and configuration with no modifications. It grades in NRA very good condition with only minor blemishes from normal handling and use.

The stock retains its factory finish with numerous minor scratches and some finish loss from normal handling. There are no cracks or stains in the wood and the checkering is original and crisp. The original bluing is intact and grades at 90% to 95%. There is some normal edge wear, some wear at the muzzle, a rub on the barrel above the roll stamp, and some bluing loss on the bolt handle where it rubbed on a scope.

The bore of the unique 25-inch C1 profile barrel is bright with strong rifling. There are no pits, no throat erosion and no evidence of wear or damage. The correct 70B rollover rear sight is present.
