This stock is originally from a standard rifle produced between 1950 and 1958. It will fit all standard rifles made between 1948 and 1963, other than the H&H magnum and .458 magnum chamberings. This stock has a unique borderless checkering pattern.
This stock has what appears to be an original finish that is in very good condition. There are few small dings and shallow scratches, but no cracks, deep gouges, or splits. On the left side of the butt there is a dent that has been filled. The checkering is in excellent condition; clean and crisp, with no flat spots. The steel buttplate has some fading and wear.
