This is a custom-made Super Grade stock, created for a pre-war standard rifle. It is inlet for the cloverleaf style tang and will fit any standard rifle produced between 1936 and 1948.
Beautifully crafted, this stock features all the details of a Winchester factory Super Grade stock, including cheek rest, elegant wrap-around checkering, steel butt plate, grip cap, black tip, and super grade swivel bases.
This stock is in nearly mint condition, without any significant damage, dings, cracks, scratches, stains, or wear. Very close inspection reveals a few tiny cosmetic imperfections: a dent near the checkering on the left side, tiny scrapes to the finish along the edge of the cheek rest, and a scrape to the underside of the stock near the trigger. These blemishes are shown in the last few photos.
