This is a .22 Hornet standard barrel from a 1947 Model 70 rifle.  The barrel has been rechambered to .222 Remington (aka the “Tripple Deuce”)  

Bluing - 85% - The bluing on this barrel shows some signs of wear.  The finish has begun to fade slightly throughout the barrel, and there are a couple spots where the bluing has thinned.

Metal - Overall, this barrel is in excellent condition. There are no significant nicks, scratches, or marks of metal damage.

Bore - 4/10 - The bore shows significant signs of wear.  The rifling is still bright and smooth, but there are spots of pitting throughout the length of the bore.  Borescope verified.
