{"product_id":"220-swift-standard-rifle-1965","title":".220 Swift Standard Rifle - 1953","description":"\u003cp\u003eThis is a .220 Swift standard rifle presenting in all factory-original finishes and configurations.  The rifle and bolt are serial number matched with 257098, indicating a 1953 manufacture date.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe original metal finishes are in excellent condition - grading at 95%. The stainless steel barrel is virtually flawless, and the receiver has almost no finish wear. The bolt handle has one small scrape to the finish.  The sight hood, bottom metal, and factory buttplate all retain excellent bluing with no notable wear or damage.       \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe barrel has been borescope inspected, revealing a virtually perfect bore.  There's just enough wear in the throat we can tell it has been fired, but the rest of the bore is immaculate. This bore rates a 9+ out of 10.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Monte Carlo style stock retains its original finish in excellent condition, with only a couple of very small and light handling marks.  The one notable issue with the stock is some peeling finish at the buttstock, adjacent to the buttplate.  Please see pics.  The checkering remains clean, unblemished and quite sharp.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNOTE: This rifle must be shipped to an FFL or C\u0026amp;R holder who can complete the transfer.
