The receiver and bolt are marked with matching serial numbers - 418944. The stock is an original Winchester factory stock but is not original to this rifle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe metal is in excellent condition with no dings or scratches in the metal, including the aluminum bottom metal. The finish has a very few minor scratches. There is a little light wear on the bolt components. The aluminum bottom metal is still very dark, with almost no fading, but with a few small scratches.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Monte Carlo stock is originally from a 1962-1963 Featherweight rifle. Additionally, the original sling swivel have been replaced with the newer \"Uncle Mikes\" style studs. The stock has almost no handling wear, but there is a chip inside the barrel channel just in front of the receiver. This chip is visible when the rifle is viewed from the top. There are no other significant repairs, cracks, or staining. The checkering is in excellent condition and hard rubber butt plate is in near perfect condition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe bore of the 22\" barrel has just a little throat wear and no pits, rating a 9 out of 10 under borescope examination.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNOTE: This item can only be shipped directly to you if you are an FFL or C\u0026amp;R license holder.
