This is a stainless .243 varmint barrel, manufactured in 1943. This is a stainless barrel with the unique Winchester "iron plate" bluing.
Bluing - 95% - The bluing on this barrel shows minimal signs of wear. Other than some minor wear where the barrel contacted the stock, the bluing is nearly perfect.
Metal - Overall, this barrel is in excellent condition. There are a few very minor scratches but no nicks or other forms of metal damage.
Bore - 8/10 - The bore shows minimal signs of use. The rifling is bright and smooth throughout the length of the barrel. Borescope verified.
