This is a Featherweight barrel for the pre 64 model 70 rifle, chambered in .243 Winchester. The front sight ramp has been cleanly removed. The rear dovetail remains and could be filled with a slot blank.
Bluing - 100% - This barrel has been reblued. The new bluing is in perfect condition with no signs of wear or fading.
Metal - Excellent with no significant scratches, gouges, pits, etc.
Bore - 8 out of 10 - The bore shows minor signs of wear in the throat, but there is no notable pitting. Borescope verified.
