It's in excellent condition but with just a few light handling marks. The checkering on this rifle is clean, crisp, and unmarred. The original steel buttplate has notable bluing loss and discoloration.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe metal finishes and parts are original and in very good to excellent condition. The barrel has minor finish wear at the muzzle and there is some finish wear and thinning on the bolt components and receiver. The bottom metal has a handful of light scratches. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis barrel has light throat wear and no pits.  It rates a 9 out of 10.
