This is a .270 Winchester Featherweight barrel from a 1955 Model 70 rifle.
Bluing - 85% - The bluing on this barrel shows some signs of wear. Most notably, the finish has been worn near the muzzle and under the rear sight slot, on the bottom on the barrel (this wear, with light pitting, would be hidden by the stock).
Metal - Overall, this barrel has light pitting and scratches in the same areas as the bluing loss noted above. There are also some other minor scratches, nicks, and small spots of pitting throughout the barrel.
Bore - 7/10 - The bore shows light to moderate wear. The rifling is still bright and smooth and there is some light pitting near the muzzle. Borescope verified.
