This is a .270 Winchester standard barrel from a 1952 Model 70 rifle.
Bluing - Re-blued - The finish is generally dark and even, without any wear, even around the muzzle. It appears this barrel has been reblued, as there are some shallow pits and scratches that are blued.
Metal - Overall, the metal of this barrel is in good condition. There are some small patches of light pitting (the rust was removed and the pits are fully re-blued) and a light scratch on the shank.
Bore - 7/10 - The bore has almost no wear, but the pitting reduces the rating of this barrel to a 7 out of 10. Borescope verified.
