This is a .270 Win. standard barrel from a 1954 Model 70 rifle.
Bluing - Re-blued - The bluing on this barrel has no wear; newly re-blued, perfect condition.
Metal - Overall, this barrel is in excellent condition. There was some very minor freckling near the muzzle that still shows under close examination and there is a minor ding next to the rear sight dovetail. There are no other notable dings, nicks, or other significant metal damage.
Bore - 8/10 - The bore shows light throat wear and some shallow pitting near the muzzle. Borescope verified.
