The receiver and bolt are marked with matching serial number 217802 (faintly on the bolt).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe original metal finishes are 75% with notable scratches, scuffs, fading, rubs, and overall wear to the bluing.  The muzzle has lost a good deal of its bluing, the bolt knob has thinning, and the bottom metal has wear and scratches.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe bore shows notable throat wear and some scattered pitting.  It rates a 7 out of 10 under borescope examination.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Monte Carlo style stock has likely been refinished in the past (not in our shop).  It has no cracks, chips, deep scratches, repairs or other notable damage.  The finish shows a few light handling marks and a small spot of what looks like white paint (please see pics).  There checkering appears original and in very good condition but with a bit of excess finish in it.  The stock has been fitted with a recoil pad marked \"Imperial White Line Mershon Company.\"  The length of pull remains standard at 13-5\/8\".  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eNOTE: This rifle must be shipped to an FFL or C\u0026amp;R holder who can complete the transfer.
