This is a .270 Winchester featherweight barrel, manufactured between 1957 and 1963.
Bluing - This barrel has been reblued.
Metal - Overall, this barrel is in very good condition but there was a repair made to the threaded area. It appears that while mounting a scope, a hole was drilled too deep - into the barrel threads. The hole has been filled and rethreaded and should not have any effect on the performance of the barrel, nor will it show once installed on a receiver. There are no other forms of repairs or metal damage.
Bore - 9/10 - The bore is excellent with almost no wear and only very light pitting near the muzzle. The rifling is bright and smooth otherwise. Borescope verified.
