This is a .30-06 Springfield standard barrel from a 1952 Winchester Model 70 rifle.
Bluing - 90% - The bluing on this barrel shows some signs of wear, mostly due to areas of rubbing or scratching. There are multiple surface scratches that span the length of the barrel.
Metal - Overall, this barrel is in very good condition. There are several minor spots of nicks and scratches, along with the faint scratches up and down the barrel. See the listing photos for a close up of the scratches.
Bore - 7/10 - The bore shows signs of light wear from previous use. The rifling is still clearly defined and consistent throughout the bore, but there are a few scattered spots of light pitting throughout the length of the barrel. Borescope verified.
