This is a .30-06 Springfield standard barrel from a 1952 Winchester Model 70 rifle.
Bluing - 85% - The bluing on this barrel shows noticeable signs of wear. The bluing is faded throughout the barrel, resulting in a mottled appearance, and there are several small spots of wear due to scratches or rubbing.
Metal - Overall, this barrel is in excellent condition. There are several very minor nicks and scratches in various places, but no significant marks or other forms of metal damage.
Bore - 6/10 - The bore does show signs of wear from previous use. The rifling is still clearly defined and consistent throughout the bore, but there is consistent light pitting throughout the length of the barrel. Borescope verified.
