This is a .30-06 Springfield standard barrel from a 1952 Model 70 rifle.
Bluing and Metal - Reblued - This barrel has been freshly reblued and has no wear. There are some patches of freckling, particularly near the front sight, that were not completely removed before the rebluing and now show through the finish. There are no deep dings, gouges, or scratches.
Bore - Near Perfect. The bore has no observable throat wear or pitting. The rifling is bright and smooth throughout the length of the barrel. Borescope verified.
