This is a .30-06 Springfield standard barrel from a 1953 Winchester Model 70 rifle. It appears this barrel was hunted hard but shot very little.
Bluing - 85%. While the bluing is dark, there are worn spots.
Metal - Overall, this barrel is in good condition. There are several dings and scratches, but no freckling or pitting. See the listing photos for a close up of the dings and scratches.
Bore - 8/10 - The bore shows very little wear, almost none, but has light pitting throughout the length of the barrel. Borescope verified.
