This is a .30-06 Springfield standard barrel from a Winchester Model 70 rifle. The date markings are a little faint, but it appears to be 1954.
Bluing - This barrel has been re-blued, but there are some light scratches in the finish near the chamber.
Metal - Overall, this barrel is in very good to excellent condition. There is a small ding near the lettering, but freckling or pitting. See the listing photos for a close up of the ding and scratches.
Bore - 7/10 - The bore shows very little wear, almost none, but has a few scattered spots of pitting throughout the length of the barrel. Borescope verified.
