This is a .30 Government 06 standard barrel from a 1948 Model 70 rifle.
Bluing - 90% - The bluing on this barrel shows some signs of wear. There are a few small spots where the bluing has rubbed off, but for the most part the finish is even and unworn throughout the piece.
Metal - Overall, this barrel is in very good condition. There are some light scratches and nicks in different spots along the barrel, but no other significant forms of metal damage.
Bore - 7/10 - The bore shows only minor signs of wear. The rifling is bright and smooth, but there are some small spots of pitting in the rifling grooves. There are no significant scratches throughout the bore. Borescope verified.
