This is a .30-06 standard barrel from a 1948 Model 70 rifle. A rare find, this older barrel has an excellent bore and very good finish.
Bluing - 90% - This barrel shows minimal bluing wear.
Metal - Overall, this barrel is in very good condition; there are a few minor scratches.
Bore - 9/10 - The rifling is bright and strong throughout the length of the barrel, showing minimal signs of use - very little wear anywhere. There is some very minor pitting in the bore but it took the borescope to find it and is truly very minor. Borescope verified.
