This is a .30-06 standard barrel from a 1948 Model 70 rifle.
Bluing - 95% - This barrel shows bluing wear in a small section where the stock contacted the barrel and at the muzzle.
Metal - Overall, this barrel is in very good condition. There are a few scratches above the lettering, some from the rear sight, and along the top of the barrel.
Bore - 9/10 - The throat has minimal wear, and there is no notable pitting. Borescope verified.
