This is a .300 H&H standard barrel from a magnum Model 70 rifle. The 18-lines #7 sight ramp dates this barrel somewhere between the years 1957-1963. This barrel is 26" long, longer than the standard 24" for most Model 70 barrels. This barrel comes with the original front sight.
Bluing - 85% - The bluing on this barrel shows some signs of wear. The finish has slightly faded and worn in some spots, resulting in a somewhat uneven finish.
Metal - Overall, this barrel is in very good condition. There are several small nicks throughout the barrel, as well as multiple light surface scratches.
Bore - 5/10 - The bore shows notable signs of wear. The rifling is bright and smooth, but there is light pitting throughout the front half of the bore. There are no significant scratches or other forms of metal damage throughout the barrel. Borescope verified.
