This is a Winchester model 70 target barrel that was originally chambered in .300 H&H magnum but has been rechambered to .300 Weatherby. This is a heavy barrel, 26" long, with a dovetail for the front sight and with screw holes for attaching rear sight blocks.
Bluing - Reblued - This barrel has been freshly reblued, and the new finish is in excellent condition.
Metal - Overall, this barrel is in very good to excellent condition with only a very few minor nicks, and no gouges or other significant damage to the metal.
Bore - 9/10 - The bore shows some only minor wear with almost no erosion or heat cracking, with an excellent crown and no significant pitting. The rifling is bright and still clearly defined. Borescope verified.
