Both the bolt and receiver are marked with serial number 77122. At one point this rifle had a Griffin \u0026amp; Howe side mount scope and a receiver sight. These have been removed; the holes in the receiver and the notches in the stock have been filled. Other customizations include several modifications to the stock, the addition of a quarter rib and folding rear leaf sight, aftermarket bottom metal, the addition of a barrel band front sight, a barrel band sling attachment point, checkering of the bolt handle, and jeweling of the bolt components and magazine follower. Additionally, the tang has been recontoured. The top of the barrel has been marked \"No. 1980 Griffin \u0026amp; Howe Inc. New York\" and there is an inlay in the stock with the initials \"WFD\". \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe know the rifle has been fired (there is a trace of copper in the bore) but there is no observable wear or pitting in the bore of the 25\" medium contour barrel. We rate it a 10 out of 10. Borescope verified.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe low comb stock is fitted with a recoil pad and has a length of pull of 13\u0026amp;5\/8\". The stock has some honest handling marks but no notable splits, cracks, or other damage. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe metal finish is generally in excellent condition with some minor wear on the bolt components and on the crown. There are also small scratches in the bottom metal.
