This is a type-III bolt housing for magnum caliber rifles.
Handle bluing - 90% - The handle bluing on this bolt is slightly faded but remains consistent throughout the handle. There is a stain on the bolt knob.
Metal - This bolt is in excellent overall condition. There are no scratches, nicks, or other marks of significant metal damage on the bolt shaft or face.
This bolt is missing the normal holes on the underside of the bolt shaft. The reason for this is unknown, and the bolt still functions normally.

NOTE: While model 70 bolts may appear to be interchangeable, to safely replace the bolt in a rifle requires the action to be checked for proper headspacing and lug seating. This is a simple procedure which can be performed in a matter of minutes by a qualified gunsmith.
