This is a matching receiver and bolt body pair from a 1953 standard rifle. Both pieces are marked with the serial number 238849. Both pieces have been polished and re-blued.
Receiver - The receiver bluing is a dark, almost black finish. There is wear on the rails. There are no notable scratches, dings, or other damage to the metal.
Bolt - The bolt has been polished out and the handle was re-blued. There are a few small scratches in the bolt body.
