This is a .300 H&H Magnum barrel from a 1953 Model 70 rifle that was rechambered to .300 Weatherby. Note - the barrel was not re-marked with the correct chambering, it is still marked only .300 H&H Magnum. The front sight ramp has been removed from this barrel.
Bluing - Reblued - This barrel has a beautiful, deep, reblued finish.
Metal - Overall, this barrel is in excellent, refinished, condition. There are no significant marks of metal damage.
Bore - 7/10 - Very good condition, with moderate throat erosion and the rifling is bright and smooth, but there are a very few spots of light pitting. Borescope verified.
