This is a standard steel floor plate from a Winchester Model 70 rifle. The underside shows the signature triangle-dash proof mark of a pre-war floor plate.
Bluing - 70% - This floor plate has factory bluing. The finish on this piece has significant edgewear, fading, and many light scratches. There is an area of deeper scratches at the end opposite from the hinge tab.
Metal - The metal is in good condition overall, except for the deeper scratches mentioned above. Please see photos.
