This is a matching receiver and bolt body pair from a 1953 standard rifle.  Both pieces are marked with the serial number 264132. The bolt handle has been ground to provide additional clearance for a scope. There are no other modifications to either piece.

Receiver - The receiver bluing is in very good condition, with some wear on the rails and edge wear. There are no notable scratches, dings, or other damage to the metal.

Bolt - The bolt has been ground with some re-bluing on the ground area. The remainder of the bluing is thinning. There is no other notable metal damage on the bolt.

We use the NRA Modern Gun Condition Standards Grading System for grading part conditions. You can read about it HERE

NOTE: Laws governing transfer of firearms require that receivers be shipped to an FFL holder. If you do not hold an FFL or C&R license, you will need to enlist the services of an FFL to complete the transfer. If needed, we are happy to assist you in locating an FFL holder near you who can complete the transfer on your end.
