This is a matching receiver and bolt body pair from a 1954 standard rifle. Both pieces are marked with the serial number 296914, and both have the original finish.
Receiver - Overall, this receiver is in very good condition. The bluing is original, with a little fading, and showing light wear on the rails and in the tang area. There are no notable scratches, dings or other metal damage. There are no holes or modifications to the receiver.
Bolt Body - The bolt body is in very good condition. The bolt handle has discoloration and bluing wear. The bolt body has discoloration and scratches.
