This is a matching receiver and bolt body pair from a 1953 standard rifle. Both pieces are marked with the serial number 259231, and both have the original finish.
Receiver - Overall, this receiver is in excellent condition. The bluing is original, with a little fading, and showing only very light wear on the rails, in the tang area, and from the scope mount. There are no notable scratches, dings or other metal damage. There are no holes or modifications to the receiver.
Bolt Body - The bolt body is in very good condition. The bolt handle has some bluing wear and a few shallow scratches.
