This is a matching receiver and bolt body pair from a 1952 standard rifle. Both pieces are marked with the serial number 229875 and both have the original finish.
Receiver - Overall, this receiver is in very good condition. The receiver bluing is original, showing light signs of wear on the rails, with some fading on the rear bridge, and a small rub on the left side of the front ring. There are no notable scratches, dings or other metal damage. There are no extra holes or modifications to the receiver.
Bolt Body - The bolt body is in very good condition. The bolt handle has some bluing wear and shallow scratches.
