This is a matching receiver and bolt body pair from a 1952 standard rifle. Both pieces are marked with the serial number 225812 and both have the original finish.
Receiver - The receiver bluing is original, showing wear on the rails and tang and some overall fading. There is some light freckling and bluing loss on the recoil lug. There are no notable scratches, dings or other metal damage. There are no extra holes or modifications to the receiver.
Bolt - The bolt body has freckling; the bolt handle has freckling and bluing wear.
