This is a short magnum receiver from a 1960 Winchester model 70 rifle. This receiver was designed for the .264 Win Mag, .300 Win Mag, .338 Win Mag, and .458 Win Mag cartridges.
Bluing - 85% - The bluing has wear and fading.
Metal - This receiver is in very good overall condition. There are shallow scratches, but no deep gouges or other significant metal damage.There are no added holes or other modifications on this receiver.
