This is a standard receiver from a 1953 Model 70 rifle, stamped with the serial number 277615.
Bluing - 90% - The finish is fairly even, but with some slight thinning. There is wear on the rails and in the tang area and on the recoil lug.
Metal - Overall, the metal is in excellent condition. There are no scratches, pitting, or other significant marks or metal damage.
