This is a standard receiver from a 1955 Model 70 rifle, stamped with the serial number 342562.
Bluing - 90% - The finish is dark, but with some worn spots around the front ring, on the rails and in the tang area.
Metal - Overall, the metal is in very good condition with slight flattening in the roll die stamping on the front ring and a few shallow scratches.
