This is a standard receiver from a 1954 Model 70 rifle, stamped with the serial number 285261.
Bluing - 90% - The finish is even, but with some slight thinning and edge wear. There is also wear on the rails, in the tang area, on the recoil lug, on the front ring, and on the rear bridge.
Metal - Overall, the metal is in excellent condition with no notable scratches or dings.
