This is a standard receiver from a 1962 Model 70 rifle, stamped with the serial number 560851. There is an extra hole, possibly to retain the sear pin, drilled and tapped below the bolt handle cut-out and under the stock-line. The tang has been polished and reblued.
Bluing - 90% - The finish is fairly even, but with some slight thinning and edge wear. There is also wear on the rails and in the tang area.
Metal - Overall, the metal is in excellent condition without notable defects.
