This stock is originally from a .300 H&H magnum rifle produced between 1951 and 1961. It will fit all .300 H&H rifles produced between 1948 and 1963 with a standard barrel contour.
This condition of the wood is excellent, with no cracks, chips, dents, gouges, or other major cosmetic issues. It was likely refinished in the past (not in our shop) and the work is very professional. The aftermarket "Decelerator" recoil pad is soft and pliable with no cracking.
This stock has been bedded, so it may need to be relieved for future use.
