This stock is originally from a standard rifle produced between in 1951 and 1961. It will fit all standard rifles produced between 1948 and 1963, other than the H&H magnums and the .458 magnum. This stock has been fitted with a Pachmayr recoil pad and after-market quick release sling swivels. There is a wood plug in the forend where the barrel screw normally fits.
This stock appears to have an over-coated finish. It has handling marks but there are no notable chips or cracks. The checkering is original and in very good condition. The recoil pad is in very good condition.
