This is a post-war marksman stock form a target rifle made between 1948 and 1963. The stock is original and unmodified with the exception that the comb has been slightly contoured for use by a left-handed shooter. The finish has light wear and minor handling marks, including a small impression from a receiver sight (no missing wood) and a light impression from where the hand rest pressed against the underside of the forestock. The stock has cracks or significant damage and is overall in very good condition. It retains its original steel butt plate and has never been bedded.
