This is a very nice Featherweight rifle chambered in .264 Winchester Magnum, produced in 1962.
Nicknamed "The Flamethrower", the .264 Win Mag Featherweight is an unusual and not too common rifle, being the only true belted magnum chambering Winchester offered in a pre-64 Featherweight.
The rifle is in very good to excellent condition. The bluing grades at 98% with just the slightest edge wear from normal handling and almost no blemishes. The stock bears its original factory recoil pad, which is not cracked. The stock has a few very minor handling marks, but no cracks, gouges or modifications. It is not bedded and the barrel channel is original. The stock bears a vintage refinishing job which is well done with just slightly more shine than the factory finish.
